Plumbers are well-paid and in high demand. They also have the freedom to work for themselves or as a valued employee in a diverse range of environments from a small business to a large construction company.
With this VET program, you will develop skills that will equip you for the workforce whilst you undertake applied learning in an adult learning environment. You will gain a nationally recognised qualification, or credit towards a qualification, that also contributes to the satisfactory completion of VCE, VCE: VM or VPC. You will learn practical plumbing skills in our industry-specific plumbing workshops, including reading and interpreting plans and specifications, producing technical drawings using plumbing pipes, fittings and fixtures.
Contribution towards VCE: VM
It is mandated that students studying VCE: VM complete 180 hours of a VET course in a Certificate II or above. This will contribute 2 VET credits towards a student’s program.
