Consult with your parents, VET Coordinator, Careers Advisor or MIPS Coordinator and make sure you understand how your VET course will fit in with your VCE or VCAL studies. Information about how your VET course contributes to your VCE and VCAL is found on each individual course page.
You will need permission from your parents/guardian and your school before you apply for a VET course. Your school pays your study fees and you/your parents/guardian will have to pay a materials fee and bus travel (if travel is required). Find out more about bus services and fares here.
You will need to upload a completed and signed copy of a Parent Consent and Medical Form with your online application. You can download Parent Consent and Medical Form here.
You can not enrol in a VET course unless you have a Unique Student Identifier (USI) number.
A USI is free and is easy to create online.
You will need at least 1 or preferably 2 forms of identification.
To create a USI, go online towww.usi.gov.au and follow the steps outlined.
Before you proceed to the application form, you will need to download the parent Consent and Medical Form. Both pages of this form are to be filled out and signed by your parent/guardian and uploaded with your application form.
